Márgenes de protección turística, son las áreas adyacentes a los centros y conjuntos de interés turístico o al mar y a los ejes de circulación turística tales como ríos, carreteras, y vías férreas, que por esta circunstancia requieren ser objeto de reglamentación especial para su conservación y desarrollo.
