La calidad y el volumen de los combustibles a que se refiere el artículo anterior, para cada importación, deberá certificarse -por un Inspector Independiente- en el puerto de desembarque, Ecopetrol deberá enviar dicha certificación de calidad y volumen a la Dirección General de Hidrocarburos del Ministerio de Minas y Energía, vía fax, dentro de las veinticuatro (24) horas siguientes al desembarque de los combustibles.
