Repealed

Art. 23. Para que haya lugar al pago de la expresada subvención es preciso que el empresario respectivo se obligue mediante garantía suficiente, á juicio del Poder Ejecutivo:

1° A hacer cada mes dos viajes redondos, por lo menos, en ambos ríos;

2° A que las embarcaciones reúnan condiciones bastantes de seguridad y carguen, por lo menos, cincuenta toneladas, sin remolcar otra embarcación;

3° A establecer, de acuerdo con el Gobierno, la tarifa de fletes y pasajes;

4° A conducir gratis el correo nacional; y

5.° A transportar por sólo la mitad del pasaje corriente las tropas nacionales y los empleados civiles en comisión.
