En la medida en que la OATS alcance su objetivo primordial y éste no se vea afectado, el segmento espacial de la OATS, podrá disponerse para cualquier otro servicio relacionado con las telecomunicaciones, siempre que estos servicios sean aceptables desde el punto de vista técnico y económico y sean usados con fines pacíficos.
