El Subjefe del Departamento, el Secretario General, el Director General de Inteligencia, los Jefes de la Oficina Jurídica e Inspección General, los Directores y Directores Seccionales, podrán pedir al Jefe del Departamento el otorgamiento de la "Medalla Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad", a los funcionarios o particulares que cumplan los requisitos mínimos previstos en este Decreto, exponiendo los motivos que los induzcan a solicitarla.
