La Republica lamenta la muerte y honra la memoria del doctor Silverio Arango, quien por sus virtudes eximias y por la probidad y consagración con que desempeño los altos cargos de Representante al Congreso y Presidente del Estado Soberano de Antioquia, y de los Tribunales Superiores de Justicia de Antioquia y Manizales, hizo honor a la Patria y la sirvió con abnegación y lealtad.
