Con ocasión del 450 aniversario de la Fundación de Santa Marta, se celebrará un certamen deportivo internacional en el que participarán los siguientes países: Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, España, Estados Unidos, Guatemala, Panamá, México, Perú, República Dominicana y Venezuela.

La sede de este certamen será la ciudad de Santa Marta con subsedes en las ciudades de Barranquilla y Cartagena.
