Son funciones de la unidad financiera: 1. preparar el presupuesto del fondo y organizar su correcta ejecución; 2. organizar y mantener al día la contabilidad del fondo; 3. recaudar los ingresos del fondo y efectuar los pagos que con cargo a sus recursos se autoricen; 4. adelantar las gestiones necesarias para garantizar la adecuada provisión de recursos para el fondo.
