Los miembros del personal científico de la institución, a excepción del personal agregado, podrán ser enviados por ésta en comisión de estudios o intercambio científico dentro o fuera del país con el goce completo de sus asignaciones o con viáticos especiales, por períodos que determino el Consejo Médico y Académico y mediante contratos cuando hubiere lugar a ellos.
