VIGILANCIA POR PARTE DEL DEPARTAMENTO ADMINISTRATIVO DE INTENDENCIAS Y COMISARIAS A LOS BIENES Y RENTAS INTENDENCIALES Y COMISARIALES. El Departamento Administrativo de Intendencias y Comisarías podrá vigilar y controlar en cualquier tiempo el manejo y custodia de los bienes y rentas de las Intendencias, Comisarías, Municipios y Corregimientos, lo mismo que sus entidades descentralizadas, sin perjuicio de las funciones propias de la Contraloría General de la República, para lo cual podrá solicitar la presentación de libros, comprobantes, informes de caja y bancos y demás documentación que considere conveniente.
