Art. 2.° Tienen derecho a votar en las elecciones de Concejeros y Diputados todos los individuos que, conforme á la Constitución, gocen del derecho de ciudadanía ; en la de Representantes y Electores, los ciudadanos que sepan leer y escribir, ó que tengan una renta anual de $ 500 ó propiedad inmueble de $ 1,500. Para hacer las clasificaciones de que éste artículo trata, se observarán las reglas establecidas en el capítulo IV de la Ley en referencia.
