El que fabrique o introduzca al país, o, a sabiendas, conserve en su poder instrumentos destinados exclusivamente a la falsificación o alteración de moneda, incurrirá en prisión de tino a cinco años. En la misma sanción incurrirá el que, con el propósito de falsificar o alterar moneda, construya, conserve, venda, facilite o introduzca al país cuños, troqueles u otros instrumentos que sin ser exclusivamente adecuados para obtener ese fin, sean aptos para realizarlo.
