Destrucción o desnaturalización de artículos o productos. La destrucción consiste en la inutilización de un producto o artículo. La desnaturalización consiste en la aplicación de medios físicos, químicos o biológicos, tendientes a modificar la forma, las propiedades de un producto o artículo. Se llevará a cabo con el objeto de evitar que se afecte la salud de la comunidad. (Artículo 50 del Decreto 3518 de 2006)
