Art. 39. No podrá traducirse ni compendiarse una obra sin permiso del autor. Pero las obras de autor no colombiano e impresas en países de lengua extranjera, podrán ser traducidas libremente en todo o en parte, con la única obligación de no ocultar el nombre del autor.
