Los bancos hipotecarios y los bancos comerciales con sección hipotecaria quedan autorizados para dividir las hipotecas constituidas a su favor sobre edificios sometidos al régimen de la presente Ley, entre los diferentes pisos o departamentos que integran tales edificios, a prorrata del valor de cada uno de aquéllos.
