°. Los sueldos señalados en las escalas podrán ser objeto de reducción cuando el empleado reciba salario en especie. Dicha reducción no podrá superar el veinte por ciento (20%) del sueldo básico. Al hacerse el nombramiento la autoridad nominadora determinará la asignación correspondiente por este concepto, pero para efectos de cesantía y demás prestaciones sociales, lo mismo que para regular los aportes del empleado a los Institutos de Previsión, se tomará en cuenta el sueldo completo.
