A fin de que sea suficiente la presentación para el pago, debe hacerse:

1° Por el tenedor o por otra persona autorizada para recibir el pago en su nombre;

2° En una hora conveniente de un día útil;

3° En el lugar adecuado como aquí se define, y

4° A la persona primeramente obligada en el instrumento, o si está ausente, o no se encuentra, a cualquiera persona que se halle en el lugar donde, se haga la presentación.
