Los funcionarios de la Prefectura de Control de Cambios son de libre nombramiento y remoción y no pertenecen, por lo tanto, a la Carrera Administrativa. El Gobierno señalará las remuneraciones teniendo en cuenta las responsabilidades inherentes a sus cargos. El Presidente de la República designará el Prefecto, al Secretario General y al Jefe de la División de Investigaciones, y el Prefecto, con aprobación del Ministro de Fomento, los demás funcionarios de la Prefectura.
