Los fondos de empleados estarán sometidos al control y vigilancia del Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Cooperativas, con la finalidad de velar porque los actos atinentes a su constitución y funcionamiento se ajusten a las normas legales y estatutarias, y se precautelen los intereses a los asociados. Estas atribuciones no implican por ningún motivo, facultad de cogestión o intervención en la autonomía jurídica de los fondos de empleados.
