Los extranjeros mayores de siete (7) años, titulares de visa de residente o temporal cuya vigencia sea superior a un (1) año, deberán inscribirse en los registros de extranjeros que llevará el Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad en la Dirección de Extranjería, Direcciones Seccionales y Puestos Operativos, dentro del plazo de treinta (30) días calendario a partir de su ingreso al país. Los extranjeros a quienes se les conceda una visa dentro del país, deberán cumplir con la obligación mencionada dentro del mismo plazo, contado desde la fecha de otorgamiento de la respectiva visa.
