Los habilitados tienen obligación de llevar un libro de inventarios de todos los enseres del establecimiento, en el cual se anotarán, día por día, las altas y bajas que vayan ocurriendo. Copias de estos inventarios serán enviadas al respectivo Departamento del Ministerio y también a la Contraloría General de la República, al finalizar el año lectivo. Los inspectores nacionales en sus visitas, revisarán cuidadosamente tal libro y darán cuenta inmediata al Ministerio de carencia o fallas.
