Para ser Director General del Instituto de Medicina Legal y Ciencias Forenses, se requiere título profesional y acreditar una experiencia mínima de cinco (5) años en Medicina Legal o Ciencias Forenses, preferiblemente con experiencia administrativa.

Parágrafo

El Director General será nombrado por el Fiscal General de la Nación.
