Vigencia. El presente decreto rige a partir de la fecha de su publicación, regula en forma integral la organización, competencias y funcionamiento del Consejo Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural y deroga los Decretos 3048 de 1997 y 2290 de 2003 y 737 de 2006, así como cualquier otro relativo al Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales y centros filiales.
