Art. 8°. El Poder Ejecutivo establecerá en el rio Mayo un Resguardo montado, con el personal suficiente, para sitnar destacamentos en puntos convenientes, el que impedirá el paso de las mercaderías á los municipios del Norte del Estado soberano del Cauca.

El Resguardo que se manda establecer por este artículo recorrerá toda la linea de los caminos y veredas que conducen por el Mayo.
