Retiro del servicio. El retiro del servicio implica la cesación en el ejercicio de las funciones del docente y se produce por renuncia, por invalidez absoluta, por edad, pro destitución o por insubsistencias del nombramiento, cuando se trate de personal sin escalafón o del caso previsto en el artículo 7º de este Decreto. La supresión de la carga académica asignada a la docente implica su retiro del servicio no la suspensión del pago de su remuneración, mientras se le asignen nuevas funciones.
