La Nación se asocia a la conmemoración de los ciento cincuenta (150) años de fundación del municipio de Pereira, Capital del Departamento de Risaralda, los cuales se celebrarán el treinta (30) de agosto de dos mil trece (2013) y rinde público homenaje a sus habitantes, exaltando la memoria de sus fundadores, entre ellos el presbítero Remigio Antonio Cañarte y Jesús María Ormaza.
