La Nación pavimentará los sectores de carretera que partiendo de la población del Cerrito conducen al Paraíso por la vía Cerrito-La Mendaña-Santa Elena, y la que partiendo de la carretera central en el puente del río Amaine, conduce al Paraíso, con el fin de fomentar el turismo nacional e internacional a ese histórico monumento que sirvió de escenario a la inmortal obra literaria "La María", de Jorge Isaacs.
