La dirección y administración de la Unidad de Gestión de Restitución de Tierras Despojadas estará a cargo del Director General de la Unidad, que será su representante legal, funcionario de libre nombramiento y remoción, designado por el Presidente de la República y de un Consejo Directivo, conformado en los términos de la Ley 1448 de 2011.
