Los Fondos Ganaderos a que se refiere la Ley 26 de 1959, son establecimientos de crédito y fomento, sujetos a la vigilancia de la Superintendencia Bancaria y organizados como lo prescribe dicha Ley. Sólo los establecimientos así organizados o que se organicen en el futuro podrá usar en cualquier forma o por cualquier motivo, el nombre de Fondos Ganaderos.
