La Nación coadyuva a la construcción del edificio que ha de perpetuar la memoria del ilustre repúblico, y que se levanta en Ocaña por mandato de la Ordenanza 21 de 1915, del Departamento del Norte de Santander, con la suma de cinco mil pesos ($ 5.000) oro, la que se pondrá a la disposición de la Junta Departamental de Obras Públicas del citado Departamento.
