Autorízase al Gobierno Nacional para recibir del Banco Popular, en pago parcial de la deuda contraída por éste con el Estado, conforme a los Decretos legislativos números 8 y 37 de 1958, y al artículo 4o. de la Ley 49 de 1959 , acciones de carácter privilegiado de las que el Banco Popular tiene en reservas y de las que emita en virtud de nuevos aumentos de capital, por un valor de cuarenta millones de pesos ($40'000.000.00).
