La Unidad de Información de Datos y Estadística tiene como función el análisis delincuencial a nivel nacional, el procesamiento de la información suministrada por las Seccionales de Instrucción Criminal y proporcionar la información de los datos que requieran las diversas dependencias del Cuerpo Técnico de Policía Judicial, así como también preparar la revista o publicaciones que divulguen las labores de este organismo.
