Art. 1º Derógase la Ley 116 de 1887 , "por la cual se promueve la gradual extinción del papel moneda en curso forzoso."

En consecuencia, desde el 1º de Abril próximo cesará la introducción á las Casas de moneda de Bogota y Medellín de barras de plata ó de joyas para su acuñación á la ley de quinientos milésimos (0,500).
