La acción a que se refiere el presente capítulo, prescribe en tres (3) años, contados a partir de la fecha en que se cometió el último acto constitutivo de la falta. La iniciación de la investigación preliminar interrumpe la prescripción y comenzará a contarse nuevamente, desde la iniciación de tal investigación.
