Delegar de conformidad con el artículo 13 de la Ley 489 de 1998 las funciones de inspección, control y vigilancia del servicio público de transporte que le atribuye el numeral 22 del artículo 189 de la Constitución Política al Presidente de la República en la actual Superintendencia General de Puertos.

Parágrafo

La Superintendencia General de Puertos modificará su denominación por la de Superintendencia de Puertos y Transporte, Supertransporte, mientras se mantenga la delegación.
