Art. 57. No podrá ejecutarse en teatro o sitio público alguno, en todo o en parte, ninguna composición dramática o musical sin previo permiso del propietario. Pero si la obra no fuere nacional, sino original de otro país en que se hable lengua española y con el cual haya reciprocidad en materia de propiedad literaria, la anterior prohibición solo se refiere a las obras cuyos autores se hayan reservado expresamente este derecho.
