° Empresa de vigilancia privada. Es la persona jurídica, sociedad o cooperativa, cuyo único objeto social consiste en la prestación de servicios de vigilancia privada.

Parágrafo

Por ser la vigilancia privada una actividad que emplea armas en desarrollo de su objeto social, lo cual incide directamente en la seguridad ciudadana y el orden público interno, los socios de las empresas de vigilancia privada que se constituyan a partir de la vigencia de este Decreto, solamente podrán ser personas naturales.
