Instancia organizativa regional de carácter espiritual, político, técnico e interdisciplinario, creada por las autoridades indígenas en el marco del gobierno propio, encargada del ejercicio de vigilancia y control del Sispi que soportan y fundamentan la toma de decisiones por parte, de las autoridades indígenas del territorio que conforma el Consejo Regional Indígena del Cauca (CRIC). Lo anterior sin perjuicio de la vigilancia y control de los recursos que le corresponde a la Contraloría General de la República y la Contaduría General de la Nación.
