El Gobierno se asocia a la celebración del aniversario oficial de los países que tienen representación diplomática en Colombia. El pabellón Nacional se izará, en el Palacio Presidencial y en el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, siempre que la Nación cuyo aniversario se celebre, otorgue el mismo tratamiento a Colombia en el día de su Fiesta Nacional.
