º. El Instituto de Seguros Sociales podrá celebrar contratos con el objeto de dar la administración y/o operación de las funciones a su cargo como Entidad Promotora de Salud. Para el efecto, podrá contratar únicamente con personas jurídicas de naturaleza solidaria sin ánimo de lucro, con aquellas constituidas o conformadas por ex funcionarios del mismo, y con otras entidades sin ánimo de lucro tales como organizaciones sindicales y Cajas de Compensación Familiar, así como con hospitales públicos.
