Art. 1.° El artículo 31 del Código de Comercio quedará así:

Art. 31. Los libros enunciados en los tres primeros incisos del artículo 27 estarán encuadernados, forrados y foliados; sus hojas serán rubricadas por el Juez de Comercio y su Secretario, y en la primera de ellas se pondrá una nota fechada y firmada por ambos que indiquen el número total de hojas y la persona a quien pertenece el libro.

"En los Distritos donde no haya Tribunal de Comercio, cumplirá estas formalidades el Juez del Circuito o el de el Distrito y sus respectivos Secretarios"
