Dentro de los seis (6) meses siguientes contados a partir de la promulgación de la presente ley, el Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible institucionalizará y fortalecerá el Centro de Pensamiento e Innovación sobre Gestión Ambiental Urbana, el cual fomentará la innovación en los procesos, productos, servicios e indicadores para responder a los desafíos urbanos y colectivos de la biodiversidad urbana y deberá contar con participación activa de los institutos de investigación adscritos o vinculados a dicho Ministerio.
