Cuando el proponente actualice la información en el Registro Mercantil o en el Registro de Entidades Sin Ánimo de Lucro, que no requiera de la verificación documental (tales como cambios de razón social, representantes legales, facultades y otros), las cámaras de comercio actualizarán la información de manera automática, sin requerir actuación por parte del proponente. Las demás actualizaciones deberán realizarse a través del diligenciamiento del formulario y previo pago de los derechos correspondientes.
