Las exportaciones de banano fresco que se clasifican bajo las subpartidas arancelarias 08.03.00.12.00 (tipo cavendish valery), 08.03.00.19.10 (banano bocadillo musa acuminata) y 08.03.00.19.90 (los demás), cuyo destino sea uno de los estados miembros de la Unión Europea, y hasta concurrencia de un cupo total de ochenta y ocho mil quinientas veintitrés toneladas métricas con quinientos setenta y un kilos (88.523.571 TM), para el período comprendido entre el primero (1º) de octubre y el treinta y uno (31) de diciembre de mil novecientos noventa y nueve (1999), se sujetará a lo dispuesto en los siguientes artículos.
