Las asignaciones de retiro y demás prestaciones sociales a que se refiere este Decreto, no son embargables judicialmente, salvo el caso de juicio de alimentos conforme a las disposiciones vigentes sobre la materia, de obligaciones con la Policía Nacional, con el Ministerio de Defensa y los Organismos adscritos o vinculados a éste. El derecho a reclamar las prestaciones sociales consagradas en este Estatuto, prescribe a los cuatro (4) años.
