El artículo 2.2.2.1.3. del Estatuto Orgánico del Sistema Financiero, quedará así: "Inversiones en corporaciones de ahorro y vivienda . Los establecimientos bancarios podrán promover y crear corporaciones de ahorro y vivienda, lo mismo que adquirir y conservar acciones en las mismas. "Los directores y gerentes de los establecimientos bancarios podrán hacer parte de las juntas directivas de las corporaciones de las cuales sean accionistas".
