Nombramiento e ingreso al escalafón. El nombramiento e ingreso del personal del Nivel Ejecutivo de la Policía Nacional se dispone por la Dirección General de la Policía Nacional, previa propuesta del Director de la respectiva escuela y su ingreso al escalafón se causa en el grado de Patrullero, carabinero o investigador según el caso, con excepción de quienes ingresen al Cuerpo Administrativo, los cuales serán nombrados en el grado de Subintendente.
