La Unidad Administrativa Especial de Aeronáutica Civil, en condición de autoridad aeronáutica, deberá adoptar las medidas que sean necesarias, dentro del ámbito de su competencia, para asegurar el cumplimiento de la legislación y reglamentos aplicables en materia de seguridad operacional y de la aviación civil.
