Para el desarrollo de la planificación ambiental regional en el largo, mediano y corto plazo, las Corporaciones Autónomas Regionales contarán con los siguientes instrumentos: El Plan de Gestión Ambiental Regional (PGAR), el Plan de Acción Trianual (PAT) y el Plan Operativo Anual de Inversiones (POAI).
