Para artículo 210 de la Constitución:

ARTÍCULO 210

Las funciones del Contralor General serán determinadas por la ley. Tendrá, además, las siguientes atribuciones especiales:

Llevar las cuentas generales de la Nación, inclusive la de la deuda pública interna y externa;

Prescribir los métodos de la contabilidad de todas las dependencias nacionales y la manera de rendir cuentas los empleados responsables;

Exigir informes a los empleados públicos nacionales, departamentales o municipales, sobre su gestión fiscal;

Revisar y fenecer las cuentas de los responsables del Erario;

Proveer los empleos de su dependencia creados por la ley.
